At first glance, I liked this image. The juxtaposition between the chaos and destruction in the background and the pristine hair, make-up and wardrobe of the model create an interesting, attractive image. I like the crisp focus and the way the colors all work together in the composition...and I love the way the red on the model's lips highlight the red in her hair and vice versa.
Overall, this is a well planned, well executed image, and certainly better than anything I've ever shot.
Having said that, the model's face and the hair surrounding her face seem to have been processed more than the rest of the image, giving her face a slightly unnatural, mask-like quality and I can't quite tell from the image whether this was intentional or not.
If it was intentional, then you did a GREAT job of adding a subtle, slightly disturbing message about what it takes to survive in the modern world. If it was unintentional, I'd suggest backing off just a bit on selective smoothing / post-processing.
Either way, this image certainly grabbed my attention and forced me to think (and that was even BEFORE my first cup of coffee!).
Unreal, your model is so gorgeous that she almost looks like a doll. I love the makeup in this photo, along with the bright red of her hair. I also really like the chaos behind her, it contrasts very well with her. Great work!
