like a soaring phoenix covered in flames that burns the universe and resurrects a universe that was previously destroyed by a supernova 6000 times powerful than a regular sun. A phoenix is a very beautiful majestic creature than others, it cannot be controlled and also dangerous so yes I like this photo because I imagenate her as a phoenix very beautiful yet cautious to gaze, love, control her.
it's not easy to explain ... like you have the "knock knock jokes" we have the "a man meets a fairy in a wood jokes". and one of them is (poorly translated) "bend over, fairy, a wish is a wish." ... hope you get it
Okay.. normally I would look at a picture like this [drawn to it, yes, by the beauty of the model], absorbed it and moved on. But, after reading ~Leeloominai08 's comments, I took a more introspective look at it. Thus.. a) I actually did not notice the glass in her hand, at first, so that was a revelation. b) I get more of a cautious feel from her than a cold one. My reading is that, precisely because of her beauty, she has never been taken seriously as a human being and, further, the vast majority of people [especially men] who have dealt with her have done so in an effort to exploit that very beauty in one way or another. Making her, in an otherwise short life, defensive and wary of any approach. Thus, the title is more a personal admonition to herself. Be careful about wanting this beauty, for it comes with a price. c) I actually love her hair. Her best feature, you ask me.
Like most things, however, this is just my opinion.
Yes, she is very beautiful and possibly very graceful. One thing I don't understand is the title of this work "Be careful what you wish". Who should be careful what to wish? Me, you or we all? That she is so beautiful and maybe she could like one and then turn out to be a horrible human being? That would be hilarious... She looks like she could freeze one to ice. Very cold and like she couldn't care less about you (oh wait, I think I got it now?) and she thinks she's above us all. Very often beautiful people really think they are better than "ordinary" people. My thoughts about the atmosphere I got, just by looking at the picture. Otherwise, her pose is tense - which I understand, if you want to create a certain kind of mood. Her soft skin and even her lips are such an opposite to her clothing (shoes look extremely uncomfortable!), her ice cold eyes and hair (that looks more hard, than soft). Light makes this look even more extreme. If you'd have used more evening light, maybe the result would have been softer and her gaze wouldn't been so hard. I'm not telling you how to do your job (what do I know about taking portrait pics?). Overall this picture is so provocative and it moves me, so that's why I'm writing all this. I hope you're proud of your work. You must be very good at it, because it's been a long time since I last had such conflicting feelings about a picture! Thank you for sharig, this was refreshing!
